Every once in awhile, you get to take a shot. You know you have an opportunity to either get egg on your face or come out as the hero. How many times have you passed the ball instead of taking the shot?
Let me tell you, in the past and maybe even a year ago, I would have squandered this opportunity. I would have doubted myself and shied away from taking the shot. “Why would you do that?!?” you might ask. I get in my head. I would self-sabotage far more than bet on myself.

I have been working in an office at home that I’m very grateful for, but it wasn’t working for me. I was in an old dining room converted to an office. It’s great if there are no kids around.
Don’t get me wrong, I love my kids, but they have to get in my face anytime they have a thought, which is constantly. That makes it difficult to get work done. Recently I started podcasting and having interviews over Zoom. I would sit on the couch in the basement and hide the exercise equipment in the background.
